Your existing website has not changed
The rebuild is separate. We have not changed your live website, domain, DNS or hosting. A changeover happens only after you decide to proceed and approve the launch.
Explore the rebuild
Use the preview link in our email to inspect the design, content and page structure. Try it on your phone and read the improvements report alongside it. If you cannot find the link, reply to the email or ask us for help.
Who can view the preview?
Previews are not password-protected. Anyone with the link can view the proposed website, including anyone you forward it to. The link is not a private or confidential access channel.
What viewing information is recorded?
When you open a personalised proposal, we record the proposal viewed, the date and time, and clicks on key actions such as opening the website preview or choosing to proceed. These Studio event records are linked to the proposal so we can understand interest and follow up appropriately. They do not contain your enquiry text or form submissions. Our hosting and security providers may also process ordinary technical request logs, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
Checking SEO with Lighthouse
Preview sites are intended to stay out of search results. Where a preview is marked noindex, Lighthouse flags this in its SEO checks and lowers the SEO score. This is deliberate for a preview. At launch, we check that the approved production website allows indexing on the pages intended for search, while the preview remains excluded.
How we prepare the wording
We use text from your existing website and AI tools to help improve the wording for the proposed version. Please check that the preview accurately describes your business, services and other details, and tell us about any corrections before approving the website.
Logos and photographs
A preview may reuse logos and photographs from your existing website and include replacement images generated with AI. Generated images are illustrative and should not be taken as photographs of your actual team, premises, products or completed work. Please tell us if any image is inaccurate or should not be used. Any permissions or licences needed for reused material must be confirmed before launch.
A fixed price before commitment
Your proposal sets out the purchase price, included pages and work, the total payable and payment terms. The first year’s hosting is included, and your proposal states the annual renewal cost. Additional changes are quoted separately.
There is no obligation
You have not commissioned this work and do not owe anything for receiving or viewing the preview. You can simply decline. You can also ask us not to contact you again.
Requesting removal
If you would like the preview taken offline, reply to our email or contact hello@afterworks.space with the preview link. We record removal requests and handle them through our cleanup process. Removal is not immediate, and the preview may remain accessible until that process is complete. Declining the offer does not automatically request removal, so please tell us if you would like both.
If you want to proceed
Use “I want to proceed” in your proposal or reply to our email. Minimal pre-launch corrections are included; additional work is quoted separately. We review content and existing URLs, check forms and mobile behaviour, and agree domain and email arrangements. We launch after your final approval. Payment of the agreed website price is due once the site goes live.
Ownership and hosting
After payment, you own the finished website under the agreed terms and can move it to another host. Your domain stays yours. Third-party assets and services retain their licences. Hosting covers the existing website; edits and development are separate.
